Perfect Blend fertilizers actually work in a radically different manner than most organic fertilizers. Perfect Blend fertilizers indirectly provide complex nutrition to a plant in the form of humic and fulvic acids. These natural substances can only be manufactured in the soil by bacteria. Industrial fertilizer manufacturers have long attempted to manufacture these complete humic substances, but cannot due to the complex molecular formulations and the many relatively weak linkages in the compounds. Incomplete analog humic substance compounds are as close to real humic substances as science has been able to build at this time.
Organic Perfect Blend fertilizers, with the assistance of fermentation bacteria, create complex humic substances in the soil. Perfect Blend's complex nutrition enabiling fertilizers are built using a specially reacted organic material that is rich in organic nitrogen. After reacting, this material becomes stable and predictable. Perfect Blend complex nutrition enabiling fertilizers will deteriorate slowly, as a tea, in the soil, providing a long-term slow-release action. As resident soil bacteria break down the organic material, simple compounds are resynthesized into complex humic substances. The work of transforming Perfect Blend fertilizers into complex humic acids and compounds is performed by aerobic and facultative aerobic, sporing and non-sporing, and nitrogen fixing bacteria of the azotobacter and nitrosomonas group. The complex humic acids and compounds that result from this transformation are a vital food source for plants and micro-organisms that are beneficial to plant, and also acting as a storehouse for soil moisture and an extended vehicle for ionic exchange in the soil surrounding the plant.

Perfect Blend fertilizers can be stored in extreme heat or cold without damage, and have a stable shelf life as long as they are protected from direct moisture.
Application directions: Vegetables: Sprinkle one cup (1/3 lb) along the bottom of a 24 foot section of the seed furrow, then cover the fertilizer with a thin layer of soil. Place your seeds on this soil layer, then cover the seeds with an additional layer of soil to the depth recommended on the seed package. For hill plants such as squash and potatoes place one cup in the bottom and sides of the planting hole, followed by a layer of soil, then the seeds. Cover the seeds with ground level soil and then water. For legumes, such as beans and peas, less nitrogen is required. Put half as much Perfect Blend, or one cup every 50 feet, for best results. During the growing season apply an additional cup every 50 feet after your plants bloom. Work these plant nutrients into the soil around the plant root zone. A good time to do this is when you are weeding or hilling up your plants. Always water in newly applied fertilizer.
Bedding plants and flower beds: Place 1/4 tsp of Perfect Blend fertilizer in the bottom of the hole provided for the bedding plant. Place the young plant directly into the hole and on top of the fertilizers. Pack soil around and water.
Inside potted house plants: Make a hole in the soil along the edge of the container and into the root zone with a pencil or other utensils. Pour 1/4 tsp of Perfect Blend into this hole. Use 1 tablespoon every 6 feet or 1/2 teaspoon for a 6 inch pot. One can also mix 1/2 teaspooon of Perfect Blend per quart of water to water a typical six inch potted plant.
Ornamentals and trees: Place 1/3 cup of Perfect Blend in the bottom and around the edges of the hole before planting. After planting, for every 2 feet of plant height mix an additional 1/3 cup in the soil used to fill the hole and pack around the roots.
Container plants: Mix 1/2 tsp of Perfect Blend into every quart of potting soil. Repeat every 4 to 6 weeks.
